The Lloydbrary Extra – Some SciFi Sounds
The 40th anniversary of the release of Alien in the US has just passed.
We got into soundtracks after watching the Alien DVD where there is no dialogue, just the soundtrack.
Here’s some of our favourite TV and film pieces of sci-fi related music

The Orville – Music From The Television Show Season 1
We loved season one of The Orville, in many ways it felt more like Star Trek than Star Trek: Discovery did.
In some part, this is down to the soundtrack, which to our ears is somewhat inspired by the work done on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
So, it’s great to note that the music is now available to enjoy alone.
Here’s Plasma Storm, which you could easily imagine to be the Enterprise D fleeing some alien vessel #LloydbraryLikes
